Al-Baqarah(The Cow)

Do you covet [the hope, O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allāh and then distort it [i.e., the Torah] after they had understood it while they were knowing?

(நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) உங்(கள் வார்த்தை)களுக்காக இவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொள்வார்கள் என எதிர்பார்க்கிறீர்களா? அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனத்தைக் கேட்டு அதை நன்கு புரிந்த பின்னரும், (அதன் சரியான பொருளை) அறிந்துகொண்டே அதை மாற்றிவிடும் ஒரு பிரிவினரும் அவர்களில் இருந்தனர்.
