User Data Deletion Policy
If you logged in to The Holy Quran using Facebook Auth, you have full control over your personal data. Below are detailed instructions to delete your user data.

1. Data Collected via Facebook Login
In accordance with Meta’s App Development terms, when you sign in to The Holy Quran using Facebook Login, we only request basic authentication details necessary to create your account:
- •Public Profile Information: Display Name and Profile Picture URL.
- •Email Address: Used for account identity and communication regarding your account.
- •Facebook User ID (Scoped App ID): A unique numeric identifier provided by Facebook to authenticate your session.
Note: We do not request access to your friends list, posts, news feed, or photos on Facebook.
2. How to Remove the App & Revoke Permissions via Facebook
You can revoke access to The Holy Quran application directly from your Facebook Account at any time by following these steps:
- Log into your Facebook account and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- In the left sidebar, select Apps and Websites under the Permissions section.
- Look for The Holy Quran (or TheHolyQuran) in the list of active apps.
- Click the Remove button next to the app name.
- Check the option to request deletion of all data and posts shared with the application, then click Remove to confirm.
3. Direct Data Deletion Request via Email
If you wish to permanently delete your entire account, community posts, bookmarks, and all stored profile data from our databases immediately, you can send a data deletion request directly to our support team.
Submit a Request
Send an email to our support team with your Facebook email address or Facebook User ID:
- • Subject Line: Facebook Data Deletion Request
- • Processing SLA: Requests are processed within 30 days of receipt.
- • Confirmation: You will receive an email notification once your data has been completely erased.
4. What Happens When Data is Deleted
Upon completing a data deletion request:
- •User Profile & Auth Records: Your account record in Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore is permanently purged.
- •Community Content: Any community reflections or Q&A posts authored under your profile will either be deleted or anonymized upon request.
- •Local Storage: Any client-side cached data stored on your personal web browser can be cleared by clearing your browser site data.
