Al-Baqarah(The Cow)

Or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death. But Allāh is encompassing of the disbelievers.

அல்லது (இவர்களுடைய உதாரணம்:) அடர்ந்த இருளும், இடியும், மின்னலும் கொண்ட மேகம் பொழியும் மழையில் அகப்பட்டுக் கொண்ட(வர்களின் உதாரணத்தை ஒத்திருக்கிறது. இவ்வாறு அகப்பட்டுக் கொண்ட இ)வர்கள் இடி முழக்கங்களால் மரணத்திற்குப் பயந்து தங்கள் விரல்களைத் தங்கள் காதுகளில் நுழைத்து (அடைத்து)க் கொள்கின்றனர். நிராகரிக்கும் இவர்களை அல்லாஹ் (எப்பொழுதும்) சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறான்.
