وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَىْءٍ مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ وَٱلْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ ﴿١٥٥﴾
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
(நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) பயம், பசி மேலும், பொருள்கள், உயிர்கள், கனிவர்க்கங்கள் ஆகியவற்றில் நஷ்டத்தைக் கொண்டு நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களைச் சோதிப்போம். (நபியே! இச்சோதனைகளால் ஏற்படும் கஷ்டங்களைச்) சகித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்களுக்கு நற்செய்தி கூறுவீராக.
