Al Muqaddim (الْمُقَدِّمُ) is one of the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah (Asma ul Husna). It translates to “The Expediter” in English and “முற்படுத்துபவன்” in Tamil (தமிழ்).
Is He who is free from the characteristics of creatures and better than any creature; He who fixes the speed of events, accelerates certain things in the eyes of people according to a destiny and grants each thing a value, a rank, a time and characteristics which suit Him according to wisdom

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Allah has ninety-nine names — whoever memorizes them will enter Paradise.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2736)
Muslims are encouraged to call upon Allah using His beautiful names during supplication (du'a). The Quran states: “And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them.” (Surah Al-A'raf 7:180)
