Al Aakhir (الآخِرُ) is one of the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah (Asma ul Husna). It translates to “The Last” in English and “இறுதியானவன்” in Tamil (தமிழ்).

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Allah has ninety-nine names — whoever memorizes them will enter Paradise.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2736)
Muslims are encouraged to call upon Allah using His beautiful names during supplication (du'a). The Quran states: “And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them.” (Surah Al-A'raf 7:180)
