The Eternity of Allah: Understanding Al-Awwal and Al-Akhir

Have you ever tried to understand eternity? As humans bound by time, it’s hard to grasp. Yet, this is the exact nature of our Creator.

1. Creator of Time

Allah created time and space. Because He created time, He cannot be bound by it. He is completely timeless.

2. Al-Awwal and Al-Akhir

Allah describes this through His beautiful names:

Al-Awwal (The First): There is nothing before Him. He is the uncaused cause.

Al-Akhir (The Last): There is nothing after Him. When everything ends, Allah remains.

As Surah Al-Hadid (57:3) states: "He is the First and the Last..."

3. Logical Necessity

If God had a beginning, someone else created Him, leading to an impossible infinite chain. There must be One Supreme Being who has always existed.

Knowing Allah is eternal brings deep comfort. While our world constantly fades, His mercy and presence never expire.
