Allah appreciates. Allah rewards. Allah is grateful to His servants for their good deeds.

This feels almost uncomfortable to say — how can the One who created everything, who owns everything, who needs nothing, be described as appreciative? What does it mean for Allah to be grateful?

Ash-Shakur describes the divine quality of responding to even the smallest sincere act of goodness with generosity that vastly exceeds what the act deserved. It means that no good deed — however small, however private, however imperfect — goes unrecognized and uncompensated by Allah.

"O My servants, your deeds are only your burden which I reckon for you, and then recompense for you in full. So whoever finds good, let him praise Allah, and whoever finds other than that, let him blame no one but himself."

Ash-Shakur takes the deeds that are already facilitated by His gifts and still rewards them — because His generosity has no condition attached to it except sincerity.
